We challenged ourselves to transform dining by designing an interactive menu on the restaurant table itself. Prioritizing usability, accessibility, and creativity, this digital menu lets guests seamlessly explore and order in a whole new way.
How we started?
We wanted to create a futuristic restaurant experience, so we used Midjourney to visualize how it could look. This helped us design a digital menu that fits perfectly with the restaurant’s modern and innovative vibe.

Exploring Menu Options
Choosing the Best Fit
We created two menu options and, as a team, decided to display the menu directly on the table, allowing users to place orders from there. This approach aligned with the futuristic restaurant concept.
Design Decision
Choosing Dark Mode and Building the System
We chose the dark mode because it was more suitable for the concept and aligned with the futuristic environment of the restaurant. From there, we began designing the logo, buttons, and the overall design system to match this sleek, immersive vibe.

We each created different logos and then we discussed and agreed on a new version of the one we liked most.

THE MOST INTERESTING PART
Reservation Screens:
Why is it interesting?
Because when customers choose their table, we generate a 3D view of the table and surrounding environment. This lets users see the restaurant layout and select their exact seating location, making the process both engaging and interactive.
